Some cats chase mice. Didi chases cucumbers. Well, more like “supervises” them being picked.

We got a solid haul five fresh cucumbers straight from the vine, still with the flower ends attached. Some were perfectly straight, others took a bit of a scenic route, but they all went straight into a cool water bath to stay crisp.

Meanwhile, Didi maintained his serious work face throughout the entire operation. No smiling on the job. He is a professional garden supervisor, and cucumbers do not pick themselves.

He is still not entirely convinced why humans grow green things when kibble exists, but he tolerates it. Mostly because it means more outdoor time.
